Cadie has experience in internal communications and crisis communications, but her chief area of expertise is in media relations, healthcare public relations, and social media strategies.
In the spring of 2020, Cadie implemented and activated COVID-19 communications plans for clients in healthcare, banking, grocery and nonprofits.
During her 14-year career at Parris, Cadie has guided communications strategies on behalf of the Stowers Institute for Medical Research, CommerceHealthcare, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City, and Truman Medical Centers, to name a few. In addition, Cadie has managed social media strategies and efforts for Cosentino’s Food Stores.
Cadie brings a strong background in providing public relations support for nonprofits. She previously worked for Children International, where she had the privilege of traveling internationally to promote the welfare of disadvantaged children. She was the chief media trainer for the organization’s CEO, top executives and employees in the field.
She led strategic communications for former health system Health Midwest (now HCA) for eight years, reaching the position of Director of Media Relations. While at Health Midwest, she served as executive producer of a cable television show called “Behind the Medicine,” and she produced nationally syndicated news segments for the health system.
Cadie earned her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Journalism from Rockhurst University. Cadie and her husband, Tim, have three teenage boys. Cadie currently resides in Dallas, working remotely for Parris Communications. Prior to her move to Dallas, Cadie lived in Kansas City, grew up in St. Louis, and has also lived on the east coast and in Puerto Rico.
