Corbin Mihelic

Account Executive

Corbin joined the Parris team full-time in June 2015, after graduating from the University of Kansas with Journalism degree and a minor in Economics. He interned with Parris throughout his final year at KU, and has since contributed support to a wide range of clients, including QuikTrip, Clean Line Energy Partners, MarksNelson, The Barstow School, Tradewind Energy. Recently, Corbin has managed day-to-day media affairs for a variety of important clients, including Polsinelli, The Salvation Army and the Urban Neighborhood Initiative.

In early 2016, Corbin led a grand-opening media campaign for iFLY Indoor Skydiving, earning coverage from every major TV, newspaper and radio outlet in the Kansas City area showcasing the iFLY brand experience. He was also instrumental in executing Kansas City’s inaugural Techweek in 2015, securing media attention locally, regionally and nationally.

In addition to his significant media relations experience, Corbin has helped manage several political campaign event sites with the White House Advance Team, including local visits by Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Tim Kaine and other Clinton administration staff members.

As a student at KU, Corbin held positions with the Communications department of Kansas Athletics, Kansas City ABC affiliate KMBC-TV and Pacific Alternative Asset Management Company in Irvine, Calif. He has a strong background in sports journalism, regularly publishing articles for the Wichita Eagle and The University Daily Kansan during his academic career. Corbin is a member of Alpha Kappa Lambda fraternity and actively serves on his chapter’s Alumni Board of Directors.

Corbin is a native of Wichita, Kan., and currently resides in Kansas City, Mo. He’s an avid golfer, and you’ll often catch him working on his game when the weather permits.
