Kelsey Rockey

Account Supervisor

Kelsey joined the Parris team as account coordinator in 2010, having brought a depth of background experience and knowledge for journalism and media. She has contributed her support to a variety of clients such as Cambria Cove, Smashburger, MRIGlobal, the Midwest Transplant Network and an array of special projects and events. She played a key role in Parris’ pro bono work for ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition episode hosted in nearby Ottawa, Kan. which led to national media exposure of many local businesses and organizations. Kelsey is currently involved in developing and executing strategic communication plans, media relations campaigns, social media strategies and a variety of special projects and events.

Kelsey is a graduate of Baker University, having earned a degree in Mass Media with a double emphasis in Print and Broadcast. She was a three-time captain and All-Conference player on the Wildcat softball team.  Academically, she earned a spot on the Dean’s Honor Roll for four years.  Kelsey was also involved as a staff writer for the award-winning Baker Orange newspaper and Station Manager for the University’s television station, KNBU-TV.

Kelsey enjoys participating in charity runs around the greater Kansas City area, cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks, and spending time with her husband Zack, daughter Cameron and mini Australian Shepherd named Ralph. Kelsey is a native of Eudora, Kansas and resides in Olathe, Kansas.
